Ease the learning process

By on August 4, 2008

Learning takes place throughout our lives, in all moments.

Here are some Feng Shui hints to help support your self-cultivation and knowledge development.

  1. You will never see a successful company president (or mafia boss) sitting with their back to the door – the same applies too for students. Have your seating be supported by a solid wall (no windows behind you) so that you will feel stable in all you do at your desk.
  2. Sit so you can easily see the door, but preferably from a diagonal position (ie, not directly opposite the door).
  3. Mountains represent reaching great heights with solid grounding. Place a mountain image on the left-hand wall of your study, near the door.
  4. Pictures of people whose knowledge and skill-set you admire can help you expand your thinking style: Einstein, Da Vinci, Edison, etc.
  5. Make sure your chair is comfortable and encourages good posture.
  6. Clear, uncluttered surfaces help you creatively approach your envisioned goals.

Happy learning!
