A brand new hot spot heats up the shores of Yuigahama beach this summer!

 

Like many Tokyoites craving to escape the scorching urban climate, the stylish FIAT CAFFÉ takes to the sands and seas this season. The Aoyama hotspot, operated by the Italian car manufacturers, is known for its simplicity and freshness, both in the food and decor. 

 

This summer sees the limited opening of the FIAT CAFFÉ ON THE BEACH. The zen-like atmosphere of the Aoyama joint takes the form of a beach house, constructed with recyclable materials. Friends and family may chat and chill al fresco over fine Italian dishes, overlooking the crashing waves under the sizzling sun.

 

The menu serves to give visitors a literal taste of Italy. The cuisine is authentic and prepared with the freshest ingredients, and the menu intriguing. Among the highlights is the Pizza Fritta, a deep-fried version of the famous pie that embodies the Neapolitan beachside. There are, of course, seafoods and veggies galore, succeeded nicely by a cool gelato.

 

And that refreshed sensation isn’t reserved for the eyes and taste buds!

 

The cafe interestingly offers a full spa. Loyal to FIAT’s ecological theme, the spa comes complete with skin care, treatments, and, naturally, mani-pedis, all utilizing all sorts of herbs to enhance the state of mind and body.

 

Then, there’s the Treasure Hunt for those beach-goers who just can’t sit still! As part of FIAT’s affiliation with diva doll Barbie in a joint exhibit at the Yokohama Akarenga Warehouse #1 (Aug 10-16), the bold and brave (and above 18) will be greatly rewarded for taking on fun missions, which include taking the FIAT 500 for a ride and snapping photos of Barbie and FIAT-related places. As for the prizes? They’re a surprise. But rest assured: They’re grand!

 

The café’s qualities mirror those of FIAT’s newest offspring, the 500 C model, which debuted at the beach house. The vivid convertible is a cute, modern convertible that both promotes adventure and fun, while being environmentally friendly.
