On October 31st this year, spirits soared as Halloween Night Fever took Omotesando Hills’  Space O by storm.  Families from all over Tokyo and Yokohama gathered to join in the monster festivities, where dancing, games, magic, costume contest, fashion show, all-day music, and lots and lots of yummy food ensured a marvelous time had by all!Tokyo Families magazine and BLD thank Omotesando Hills, all the revelers, helpers, volunteers, participants and the following sponsors who have made Halloween Night Fever a huge success:

The crowd cheered as mini-supermodels strut their stuff at the fashion show, doing their “little turn on the catwalk” while looking chic in the latest children’s collection from Kids no Mori, H&M, and Little Marc Jacobs.

The night ended on a high note as 1 Night Band took the stage and got the crowd on their feet, with Daniel Karras on the drums, Alastair Rogers on bass, Mayuka Thaïs on guitar and backing vocals, and Martin Leroux on lead guitar and main vocals.

Grand Prize Winner

“Little Michael Jackson”  won over ¥ 700 000 worth of prizes.  Amazing 6-year-old Daisuke Kanda did not only come in a handmade MJ costume; he also busted a perfect moon walk move.  A big Michael Jackson fan, Daisuke’s long-held dream to visit Neverland has just come true by having won an air ticket to the US.

Second Prize Winner

“Little Mermaid”   went home in second place, with ¥ 450, 000’s worth in prizes.

Third Prize Winner

The McDonald family  won the third place.
