Move over; here comes the Voca People

Preparing to make its way to Japan is a show that is – almost literally – out of this world!  Imagine a spaceship from a faraway planet called VOCA with a group of extra terrestrials on board that communicate by music and vocal sounds.   While traversing the universe, these white-clad crimson-lipped aliens,  comprising of three females (an alto, a mezo, and a soprano), three males (bass, baritone, tenor), and two active beatboxers – find their music-powered ship needing a refuel. They stop by planet Earth to recharge by singing the songs of earthlings. That’s the story, anyway!

The spectacle combines a family-friendly sense of humour and fantastic imagery matched by Voca People’s stellar pipes skillfully crafted to emulate a full orchestra sound of popular hits in pure beatbox and a cappella fashion. To call it an a cappella show however, is an understatement.  Using only pure talent, the whole complex mix of hilarious acts and a beautifully arranged repertoire of popular tunes of all genres and generations has validated these aliens’ claim to fame.

In only three years since their formation in 2009, the universally praised Israeli vocal ensemble has achieved over 40 million YouTube hits;  entertained audiences in England, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latin America, Spain and the U.S.A., sold out shows throughout Europe and South America, and took their show Off-Broadway in New York.  It looks like the Voca People are unstoppable in their quest for global domination!

Witness the burst of vocal fireworks and help these aliens recharge.
