Tokyo International Kindercare opens

A welcome addition to international schools in the Azabu area is the newly opened Tokyo International Kindercare,  a full time pre school and kindergarten located in Higashi Azabu .  Billed as a school offering world-class education yet affordable by Tokyo standards, TIK’s founder Veronica Lonsdale commits to making this the schools’ mission.  Veronica Lonsdale also founded Waseda International School two years ago under a similar concept.

The TIK team is headed by Dr. Allen A. Dubolina, an early childhood education professional and a pool of qualified teachers.  The school employs the “whole-child” approach where focus is directed at the child’s health and nutrition, values, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors.  TIK offers Language enrichment courses for 6-12-year children (ESL), Word Farm for 4-12 years old, Reading Club for 5-12 years and Writers Workshop for 5-12-year students. http://www.tokyokinder.com/
