Angelina Jolie arrives in Tokyo Monday to give a speech on preventing sexual violence

Hollywood mega star and director Angelina Jolie arrives in Tokyo Monday for a special screening of her debut film as a director,  In the Land of Blood and Honey, which will coincide with a speech on her engagement in Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative (PSVI) via Ustream, July 29 (Mon) 4:00 pm Japan time.  PSVI is a campaign launched by Jolie as UNHCR special envoy and British Foreign Secretary William Hague to stop rape in conflict zones all over the world.

In April this year, Japan, together with other G8 nations, launched the Declaration on Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict,  with a mission to work together to uphold universal human rights  and maintain international security.
