Tommy Lee Jones visits Japan

Academy award winner Tommy Lee Jones will be visiting Japan next week to promote his latest flick “Emperor”,  scheduled for Japan release on July 27.   Tommy Lee Jones, age 66,  plays Douglas MacArthur in “Emperor”, a  movie set in postwar Japan, about the fate of Emperor Hirohito after the Japanese World War II surrender.  Gen. Bonner Fellers, tasked with deciding if Emperor Hirohito wil be hanged as a war criminal,  is played by Matthew Fox of the TV series “Lost” fame.  Peter Webber directs. The Japanese cast includes Riko Hatsune, Toshiyuki Nishida and Kaori Momoi.
