As Tokyoites gear up for the golden autumn leaves, Burger King instead is painting the town black.
Things are about to get darker from September 19 when the Burger King of darkness unveils its all-black seasonal offering a month ahead of the halloween festivities.
Kuro Pearl
Kuro Diamond (690 yen), the premium sandwich, will have the usual veggies and meat topped with cheese (darker than the colour of midnight!) while Kuro Pearl (480 yen) will be a simple cheeseburger sans veggies.
Adventurous eaters are expected to make a long queue at the shop to make a dark decision!
