New service connects expats with Japan’s top English-speaking doctors and wellness specialists

The most common issue when foreigners come to Japan is not having easy access to healthcare services due to language problems.

HealthyTokyo.com, a newly launched live concierge site by Healthy IM K.K. hopes to change that. The new service facilitates obtaining healthcare services in the country by providing members with a network of top English-speaking doctors, dentists, wellness coaches and healthy-lifestyle partners. Members receive free introductory sessions with wellness coaches including special discounts and unique offerings for everything from health screenings to spas and organic food.

The foreigner-friendly service comes at a time when the Japanese government is making efforts to attract tourists and skilled professionals to the country by offering easy access to quality healthcare.

The site’s Healthy Concierge sets up appointments with healthcare providers and answers questions related to the service.
