Forty Niner opens in Roppongi

By on February 21, 2015

Forty Niner, Oahu’s oldest diner and famous breakfast stop since 1967, has just opened its first shop in Roppongi .

It earned its place in the culinary map for the house’s signature Hawaiian bread cake with coconut essence and Pancake mix in true Hawaiian buttermilk fashion ( among other tempting plates).

Richard Chagami and family owned and operated the longest-running pancake house for 60 years in Oahu until 2006 when it changed hands to Wilhelm Cordes, who arrived in Japan to oversee the launching of the restaurant.

Conveniently located a few steps away from the National Art Center Tokyo, Forty Niner Roppongi is essentially a Pancake house.
