By on May 7, 2015

” If you want a haircut, please contact me. It doesn’t matter where you are and who you are, I’ll cut your hair anytime,” blogs Japanese hair stylist, Jun Kuwabara.

Quite an unusual offer you may say.

But Kuwabara is dead serious about it. He has been traveling around the world with his scissors since April 2014 with the ultimate goal of reaching 1,000 haircuts. Each experience is documented on his personal blog.

As of May 11, 2015, the traveling hairdresser has completed his 591st cut in Sucre, the capital city of Bolivia where he gave 11 haircuts in total.

“A father came up to me and asked if I would cut his son’s hair. The boy happens to be not in the mood which is usually the case with kids. I had to bribe him with potato chips and it somehow went well,” blogs Kuwabara.
