Exercise is one way of boosting metabolism in order to get rid of fat and cellulites.  But any fitness guru will tell you that a good exercise routine paired with good eating habits, contribute largely to powering up your metabolism. These foods produce and increase heat in our bodies through metabolic stimulation or to microorganisms that create heat within organic waste. Make it a habit to include these superfoods in your diet.

FLAXSEED OIL

IMGP0003You need good fat to shed off bad fat. That might sound confusing to many but experts agree that regular intake of Omega 3 alpha linoleic acid found in Flaxseed oil can be very helpful to weight loss. The body does not naturally produce it and thus, have to be sourced from food. Rich in omega acid, fiber, and low in carbohydrates, flaxseed oil is best taken as a salad dressing or eating a tablespoon a day to reap its benefits.  It is also a good cure for constipation.

KELP WATER (Konbu Mizu)

Konbu MizuCellulites are a mass of waste tucked in tiny fat pockets inside our body. Cellulites need moisture in order to loosen them up which water alone can’t do. Kelp, considered to be a traditional super food in Japan, is packed with trace minerals and amino acids, and a good source of iodine that keeps your thyroid glands healthy and your metabolism powered up.

Although kelp is usually eaten with ramen in Japan, Japanese people drink Kelp water first thing in the morning. To make one, rinse with water and soak one or two pieces in 200 ml of lukewarm water for 10-12 hours (around 24 hours in winter). Cover with a plastic wrap. Drink it the next day.

MIZKAN APPLE VINEGAR

MitsukanIf training the gut to tone down your big appetite seems like an uphill battle, do it gradually with help from one of nature’s miracle food – apple vinegar. Apple vinegar suppresses appetite by controlling your blood glucose levels. Studies have supported that cravings for sweets  after eating a meal high in carbohydrates, can easily go away. A Japanese study further claims that the effects of acetic acid used in vinegar prevents the accumulation of fat cells.
One tablespoon taken regularly before a meal can make a difference.
