With tablets becoming increasingly relevant in early education and home settings, the new Amazon’s Fire HD Kids Edition: HD 8 and HD 10 have just raised the bar. Not only have the features greatly improved since the first release of Fire tablet, the price also makes it a worthy buy in today’s gloomy economic times.

Scheduled for release on September 30 at very attractive rates, the Fire HD 8 (8GB) will sell for ¥19,980 and Fire HD 10 (16 GB) for ¥21,980.

Amazon’s new tablet comes with a decent quality Gorilla Glass screen. The GB size may not be much for the needs of some but one of the best features of this tablet is the expansion slot that allows you to insert an SD of up to 128 GB maximum external storage.  iPAD doesn’t have this feature. Owners of these new tablets will have access to UI in Fire OS5 and free apps with Amazon Underground. When the tablet is plugged in, it automatically downloads movies except when the device is running out of storage.  This feature can be disabled allowing user, control of what goes onto the tablet.
