New Facebook feature allows you to use video as a profile pic

By on October 1, 2015

Facebook gets more creative with a new feature it’s rolling out, to make your social media presence a bit livelier than its decade-long still profile photo.

Soon, facebookers will be able to click on their profile and upload a 7-sec long video with just a tap on the record button. Looping videos are the next big thing to happen in the way you present yourself on Facebook. You can look funny, serious, crazy, kawaii (cute) or kowai (ghastly) wherever your mood takes you. Facebook wants you to be more creative and this new feature will give you the freedom to do so.

And to give your video a bit more personality, the new profile asks you to include a short description of yourself like “Full-time mom, activist, yogi!” and add an emoji.
