I scream, you scream for Ben & Jerry’s Vegan ice cream

By on February 4, 2016

Vegans, lactose intolerants and health food fans, listen up!
After two and a half years of experimenting on new flavors, American ice cream purveyor Ben & Jerry’s has finally announced its new line of non-dairy ice cream.

The four delicious classic flavors in Vegan formula are Chunky Monkey, PB & Cookies, Coffee Caramel Fudge and Chocolate Fudge Brownie. While the Chocolate Fudge Brownie contains 13 grams of fat a serving, the non-dairy version has 11. Not much of a difference you might say but calorie-wise, the new non-dairy has 50 calories less per serving than the regular flavor.

The new Vegan flavors will use vegan-approved almond milk as base and are scheduled to be out as early as spring 2016 – in the United States.

Before you get excited, say a prayer.  We don’t know for certain how soon we can get our eager hands on these new yummies in Japan.
