Japan’s new gorgeous TV

Sony has joined the OLED bandwagon and its latest offering was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The much talked about sleek and flat Bravia 4K OLED TV A1E series come in 55, 65 and 77-inch versions with X1 Extreme, the same processor that powers Sony KD-65ZD9BU. The A1E is possibly Sony’s most aesthetically pleasing design.

If you’re wondering where the sound will come from, the answer to that would be right from the screen created by the glass-backed OLED panel activated through vibration. So there’s really no need for external speakers which means there’s less dusting to do at home!

Sony has also figured out how to impress us further through its acoustic technology. The subwoofer is built into the rear stand delivering a very clean sound with a reasonable amount of bass even when panel is mounted to a wall.

Sony’s A1/A1E OLED TV is scheduled to be out this summer. Retail price is yet to be announced.
