A bilingual toy that helps your child think and learn about colors

By on March 29, 2017

Every time the chameleon’s brush scans a palette of paint around him, the chameleon’s body lights up and changes to the same color. It also says the name of the color in Japanese and English which can give the child a headstart in languages.

As some colors are a mix of two or more different colors, the chameleon also tells you what colors an object is made of.  Children will be able to think and learn about primary colors and what results in a combination of 2 different hues.

The Color Scanner Bilingual de Chameleon has three control modes:  Color, Numeric and Game. When in ‘numeric’ mode, the scanner counts numbers from 1 to 10 (in Japanese or English) written on the paint palette, and says how many scans remaining within the time limit when in the ‘game’ mode.

The Color Scanner Bilingual de Chameleon is scheduled for release on April 22 (Sat) and will be available at most toy stores in Japan according to Mattel International Corporation, the world’s maker of educational toys. (Ages 3 – 6)  You can order online here.
