Italian Festival at Roppongi Hills this weekend

By on May 17, 2017

Last year, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan hosted ‘Italia Amore Mio’ an impressive 2-day festa at Roppongi Hills to celebrate 150 years of friendly relations between Japan and Italy. This year, ITALIA, AMORE MIO returns for a sequel. Sort of.

For two days in a row on May 20 and 21, the whole 3,000 sqm space at Roppongi Hills turns into a lively town showcasing the best of Italy. An array of new and iconic Italian products from food and wine to fashion and luxury cars by 41 companies will be on exhibit. The 2016 event drew a crowd of 50,000 curious visitors and local media in two days. Expect the number to be more as ITALIA AMORE MIO adds in more serious entertainment such as 12 live performances (dance, fashion and acrobatics) 9 cooking shows including special guests Miss Italy and Miss Universe Japan.
