Southeast Asian flavors at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Tokyo

Until October 23rd,  three restaurants at  the Grand Hyatt Hotel Tokyo will be offering a Southeast Asia-inspired a la carte dinner menus. The event is is collaboration with Mori Art Museum’s  “SUNSHOWER ~Contemporary Art from Southeast Asia 1980s to Now~” exhibition, the first jointly held exhibition of its kind running simultaneously at the Mori Art Museum and The National Art Center.   Three restaurants at Grand Hyatt Tokyo will be showcasing a la carte menus with a Southeast Asian punch.

Chinaroom

  • Steamed summer vegetable salad with peanut sauce (Indonesia)
  • Tom yum goong, Saimaki shrimp, squid, coconut milk (Thailand)
  • Spicy chicken breast skewers (Malaysia)
  • Deep fried Eisbein ham with salad (Philippines)
  • Sauteed soft shell crab, Singaporean chili sauce with Chinese steamed bun (Singapore)
  • Pho, boiled Japanese sirloin beef, steamed chicken (Vietnam)
  • Mango shaved ice (Southeast Asia)

Teppanyaki restaurant Keyakizaka will dish out  spicy Tom Yum Goong paired with garlic rice, Kuruma prawns in garlic and chili sauce, and steamed Akadori chicken with bean salad.
