Everyday is a bargain at OK supermarket.

I have been making a mental list of interesting names of shops I find in Tokyo: ‘Eye Rashes’, an eyelash extension salon, ‘Assort’ hairdressers, and a new one I’ve added to the list – a supermarket called ‘OK’ located in Minato Mirai.

It all sounds like a good reason to find out what this  store with a positive name has to offer.

What I found out is that everything here is sold at a discount everyday. Thus, its slogan “low prices everyday.”

THE FOODCOURT

The Food Court has beverages at ¥100 and snacks between 250 and 400 yen.  The place is also stroller-friendly and reasonably spacious.

Lunch meals are between ¥500 – ¥790.

THE BABY GOODS CORNER

Baby clothes are neatly labeled according to age, size and weight.  They also cost  far cheaper than department stores.  The supermarket also carries general baby supplies.

Clothes for toddlers are about 15-20% cheaper than buying them at specialty baby stores.

A 10-minute professional haircut costs ¥1,000 and you can swing by anytime without appointment.

There are all sorts of goods in the different sections of the supermarket on the 2nd floor. Every day, it has an exciting  mix of good-buys. They are limited in stock they go very fast.

Everyday household items are the ones to watch out for. Detergents, shampoo, baby supplies, water, and even bread and sushi bentos are picked up by millions of people every day so it’s worth shopping around to get a good bargain.

OK Minato Mirai has a huge parking lot for 500 cars.   Shopping receipt of at least ¥2,000 allows you  one hour  free parking.
