Japan’s urban developers Mori Building and teamLab, a digital content production company,  are gearing up for the opening of  a full-scale digital art museum at Odaiba’s Palette Town complex scheduled this summer.

The massive 10,000 square meter museum (with a long name),  MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM teamLab Borderless, will showcase a permanent exhibition of digital arts, culture, aesthetics and design skillfully put together by a team of professional programmers, engineers, mathematicians, architects, painters, web and graphic designers, CG animators and editors.

The new museum will be the future home to a series of cultural activities giving Tokyo a distinct identity aimed to encourage creative thinking through digital art in various contexts combining technology and creativity.
