Supplies:

-Artist’s Canvas
Kanbasu
-Pink and Green tissue paper
pinku to midori iro tisshu pe-pa-
-Brown acrylic paint
cha iro akuririkku painto
-paint brush
painto burasshu
-white glue
shiroi nori
-spray varnish
supurei painto no kuriya iro (tsuya tsuya, to-mei)

All supplies except the pink tissue petals were bought at Sekaido (03-5360-4000 www.sekaido.co.jp). The petals were bought in Asakusabashi at a silk flower shop, but the petals can be cut out of tissue paper as well.

Step 1
Paint the tree trunk and branches on the canvas

Step 2
Glue the petals onto the canvas

Step 3
Cut out and then glue on the green grass

Step 4
Have an adult spray on the varnish. (Spay outside, away from children)

Wait for varnish to dry, and voila, a beautiful Hanami piece of art!
