As soon as you step inside Ninja Akasaka, you immediately get the feeling that this is going to be no ordinary dinner. To get to your table, you are led down dark passages, over creaking drawbridges and through secret entrances! Each group has its own private dining area. The menu is based around innovative Japanese-style dishes, and it is a feast for the eye as much as for the palate. For kids who are shy about trying anything too unconventional, there are soba noodles and simple miso soup. The vegetarian in our group loved the veggie sushi. Be sure to try one of the amazing desserts! The adorable cheesecake frog is sure to please the kids.
As the meal is winding down, it is time for the highlight: A ‘modern-day ninja’ will appear at your table and perform ‘ninja magic’ right in front of your eyes. He will also pose for photos if you ask.

The ninja were a class of martial arts specialists who carried out dangerous missions in feudal Japan. This restaurant does a great job in providing a fun modern-day Ninja experience.

Five stars. I loved it! I wanted to try everything on the menu Four stars. The ninja magic was really cool!
Recommended for ages 5 and up. Children should be accompanied to the bathroom by an adult, for the simple reason that they could easily get lost on the way!

This would be a great place to celebrate a special family occasion, or to bring overseas guests. The staff is comfortable with English and there is an English menu. Bookings are essential on the weekend.
