For families staying in Japan this summer, there is an amazing world of parks, fun filled day trips, and water parks to be experienced. (See the article on water parks and jabu jabu ikes in last summer’s Issue #2 online at www.tokyofamilies.com.) Thank you for all the congratulations on our 1st anniversary that have been passed on to us, it has really been wonderful.
We say a sad farewell to Mikiko Muenster who will be emigrating with her family; it has been enlightening having her insights into Japanese culture, as well as our Calendar of Events each issue. With our increase to 40 pages per issue, as well as a farewell to a contributor, we are looking to increase our team of writers and regular contributors. If you take your family on daytrips often, and are interested in being considered to join our dedicated little team, please e-mail us at: editor@tokyofamilies.com for a sample submission guideline. Moving into the 2006/2007 school year we have many new exciting features, outings, articles and columns in the works. Have a wonderful summer, and get ready for our September safety issue!
